Modifications:

  • Front storage area added (see right panel)
  • Wheels and springs moved 3" forward for better weight distribution
  • Shocks added for better suspension control
  • Rear lights moved onto the full-size rear door.  (All lights converted to LEDs.)
  • Strap attachments on the roof to tie down more stuff. (I sometimes put a canoe on top.)
  • Interior lights
  • Rear wireless camera
  • 12V battery
  • Interior bed with storage underneath. Additional width can be added
  • Fold-down desk
  • Rear area with refridgerator and stove

Front storage area

Front (added) storage area

A steel framework is clad with aluminum panels. Acoustic panels are on the exposed areas so that rain won't be too intrusive when you're sleeping. It's hard to see but there are rails that you suspend hangers from. The transverse aluminum that you see is a storage bin. The battery is on the floor.
Right front
The front tapers to reduce aerodynamic drag. My 2015 Mazda 3 trailers this easily since the weight is around 900 lbs.

Stove (propane), 12V refrigerator and storage.
There is a bulkhead separating the sleep area with the cook area. >
rear hatch
There is a wireless back-up camera on the rear door powered by the light circuit.

Storage bins under the bed.

The bed can be extended to nearly the full interior width with an easily removable addition (not shown)
